Is there a downloadable trial now? Originally there wasn't.
A single IP version of the software is fine for local development; but useless in a "staging" environment.

Good point. I'm a DevNet subscriber, so when I saw that it was available for us to download, I just assumed that it was downloadable from the Downloads section on MM.com.

As far as your staging environment, agreed. However, you might want to give your local MM sales rep a call. They're so anxious to sell Flex that you might be able to work some sort of deal out. That is *not* a suggestion that they will, but themy rep has been extremely cordial and amenable to talking about Flex's current pricing model..

That is not too surprising considering that MM is "marketing" it as an Enterprise class app (In that market often everything is negotiable)
On the other hand, I have heard it said they are stead-fast on CF pricing.

PS -- Sorry for typing "Jeffy" before. I did mean Jeffry!!

I didn't even notice. Only a few people can call me Jeffy and get away with it; with all due respects to you I doubt your chest is large enough to fit into that category. ( :ha, ha: Now back to your regularly scheduled component discussions )
