You may be right.
I was under the impression 2-CPU license meant "1 machine w/ 2 CPUs". I thought the inference was that Flex won't run well on a single CPU machine.


I never thought of taking that sort of license and putting it on two separate single CPU machines. ( I guess you'd have to read the license to figure out more details).

  I'm working with a company now that is thinking about the RIA
route.  They have 2 clustered servers serving their site.
  Based on what I understand you cannot buy a single processor license
of
flex, it must be on a dual processor machine.
  The cost of the two Flex licenses (?Plus an additional development
license?) would come close to paying for a full time Flash
developer.  Which would be better use of this companies money?  I
suspect
the additional developer.
