software page for Eclipse, thanks ;-)
Last fall my professor was talking about this, Eclipse that could be used to
edit Java as well.

It's nice to be the only bright light in an otherwise dark and dismal

I thought these were in there already, but on closer inspection, you're
right. I'll bear that in mind

Oh yeah, I'd love to see this as native functionality. For now, we're
planning a compromise of some kind. More info when I've got round to trying
to implement it and see what's actually feasible.

It should be possible to add that. The keyboard shortcut for it is
ctrl+shift+w

Not sure if we can to a whole lot about most of the above other than create
a standalone install like He3 that cuts down on the extraneous stuff that is
installed. We have considered that as an option given that there are a
fairly standard set of plugins that most people want to see such as DB
connectivity, xml editing, JS editing, CSS editing.
