Spike: It's so bad that (and I mean this literally) the *only* positive
thing I can say is that CFEclipse is really cool. Every time a new version
of the plugin is released, I reinstall Eclipse just to see what neat little
ideas have been added.

Stuff that I use every day in Dreamweaver that I can't find or use in
Eclipse:

- Icons for save/load/undo/redo... I don't do keyboard shortcuts.
- Find/replace limited to a selection
- A two-mouse-click GET and PUT process
- Line-wrap
- Create an empty edit window without generating a new file
- It's a minor thing, but I prefer DW's single close button for all tabs

Then there's the general feel of the thing. As much as I have always
disliked The Macromedia Interface, the Adobe lawsuit seems to have corrected
some of their greatest problems. Eclipse, meanwhile, feels like every
horrible little Java applet I've ever touched, minus the speed issues. In
that sense, Eclipse is to Dreamweaver what Opera is to Firefox or IE... an
absurd interface wrapped around a so-so implementation of core features and
a bunch of extraneous add-ons that I'll never use.

Not that I'm madly in love with DW... my little piece of mindshare is there
for the taking. But Eclipse won't be the tool that does it.
