I looked at the CF wikis, and decided against it - the code was nasty, I don't have a CF server at home, if I did it would be slow. Plus we use twiki at work, so it was fast and easy to set-up for me - and I'd much rather spend time writing about patterns over setting up a wiki. I also don't believe just because we're writing about CF we have to use CF for everything. > Twiki system that Tom has chosen is a pretty standard system with a > lot of functionality - it's pretty good for a wiki As to the speed, it seems OK from here (from work to home), the load time for the WebHome topic was a few seconds: --10:58:44-- http://coldpattern.falkensweb.com/bin/view/Main/WebHome => `WebHome' [...] 10:58:49 (20.75 KB/s) - `WebHome' saved [14240] A pair of *much* faster disks are going in this weekend, which will speed things up even more. Is it by any chance _edits_ that are slow ? (Bryan) If you have any specific problems, please post to the coldpattern list (you don't have to join the wiki !). (redirct loops) Please try again - maybe DNS hadn't reached you ? Or just go to http://coldpattern.falkensweb.com/bin/view/Main/WebHome directly. -- Tom Chiverton Advanced ColdFusion Programmer Tel: +44(0)1749 834997 email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] BlueFinger Limited Underwood Business Park Wookey Hole Road, WELLS.
