I suspect that people are skeptical about you, more than about the product you mentioned. When you want to mention a product, you might receive a better reception when you state your relationship (or lack of relationship) with that product. I know when I see something ambiguous like your posting, my first thought is to write it off as marketing, even though you may simply be a satisfied customer. Other people have posted here about their own products, and received neutral or positive responses.
