So... if someone is poor or made a bad decision you think they are basically
trash? I don't understand that? I believe a little compassionate capitalism
would be better served. Maybe that is because I believe we reap what we sow.
Or did you believe if someone has a high credit line that makes them a good
employee? (If that isn't what you meant please don't let me go
misunderstanding you... but I think there is a time to give people a second
chance. What about the people who were developers in New Orleans and had big
debts? They have very poor credit... me thinks you is being a bit harsh
here.)

Well you already stated that you did it without them. Then you say you can
do it with them. Your right! And if more money is what makes you tick...
them choose the road you like. (Someone community oriented like you is
interested in more than money though. You have done many amazing things to
share with us... so I KNOW you see more of a picture than that. Just saying
you aren't stating in context what you truly believe.)

I see more than money when looking at business. There are employees and
customers. Not market shares and gladiators. When one of my customers looks
me in the eye they see an open window rather than a decorated glass. It's
about service not competition to me. Your approach works with some customers
also... so don't abandon it on my account. (Like anyone expected that to
happen!) Oh... yes there is something WRONG with "putting another shop out
of business"... it's called people. And putting people out of work is not a
good thing! Do me a favor. Rent "Braveheart" and watch it. When you get
done... figure out why the word "heart" is part of the legends name. If you
strip a persons heart out of the picture all that is left is stimulation.
You will find as you get older it will take more and more stimulants to tip
the scale. Where did we go wrong as a nation that we forget people are
important... not just worthy of our attention.

Sincerely,

John Farrar
