I've nothing but respect for you Hal.  I also see how this unrelated run of
antagonistic threads could get to you.  Lastly I respect your desire to
maintain a favorable signal to noise ratio.

But...

Perhaps you might consider ignoring them?  They are far from overpowering
considering the general lack of list traffic.

Maybe while you don't find them helpful some do?  Perhaps even tho' you
don't find them "fun" others of us do (or at least interesting)?

For me it's the (for the lack of a better word) "philosophical" threads that
interest me most.  The conversation between Sean and Joe might devolve into
bickering, but it is (at least to me) both "fun" and "helpful".

All that said:  I fully admit that the conversation John and I have been
having about CF and ASP while, I think, interesting is off-topic.  For this
reason alone I'll refrain from continuing it.
