And Hal, you can send me an email at [EMAIL PROTECTED] with your paypal account and i'll make sure to send you the money his copy. I've learned a lot over the years from you, and the CFC book was a very important turning point for me towards understanding OO. I read it several times, so the least i could do is pay you for it twice!

And i liked the layout a lot.

Yes, it could be that we were trying to scam people--or it could be that you saw our inexperience showing. The "giant font" was all of 12 points. We thought having more white space would make the book easier to read. But when faced with two alternatives, I know I always try to pick the one with the more sinister implications. I'm glad I'm not alone. Send me an email ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and I'll make sure you get your money back for the CFCs book.

Problem with Techspedition is there was to much wastage of space.
trying to make books look bigger then they are, on my desk I have about 15 books here at work and all have the same font except for Techspedition which has giant font and 2 inch empty footers and headers on every page and over done it code samples.
I have the cfc book of which I looked at once then pushed to the back and if it had normal size font and no code samples it would be roughly 12 pages the whole book.

if Techspedition brings out more books I won't be buying them unless they get a bit more realistic, people are smart enough to buy a 100 page book over a 500 page book if they hear the 100 page book has great content.

So... what is the fixed cost of the PDF version? Seems like that could be a
good solution! Now we can even do some wild things with video editing
packages... so maybe we will see a revival of Techspedition?
