I will say this on Hal’s defense. The
value of the material in this information era is tainted in our perception. If
you look at the total value of a car, tires are cheap. (I would
illustrate with another part of the car... but truth is most techs wouldn’t
know what I was talking about.) Look at a tire and there is nothing cool about
it. In fact we have to put fancy hubs on tires to make them cool. (Oh…
you could paint a white line around it.) In fact for years people were willing
to pay a clearly higher price just for a white wall tire! So, what’s the point. Hal should
determine the value of his offering, and the viability of the market. I didn’t
pay that much for the book… but never joined the badgering of the book.
As far as I will go is the standing reality that if the book was PDF then the
production costs would be lower. (And people who knock Hal for the cost of this
book need to look at the popular CD/DVD training courses on the market. They
don’t contain any more information and are clearly higher in price!) John Farrar From:

scam people--or it could be that you saw our inexperience showing. The
"giant font" was all of 12 points. We thought having more white space
would make the book easier to read. But when faced with two alternatives, I
know I always try to pick the one with the more sinister implications. I'm glad
