I would say no. I would also say that using cold fusion to send out mass
mailings is a little risky as well.

There is no bounce detection, so your database remains polluted with non
valid email addresses (unless you manually go through them and delete each
one)

The load on a SMTP server can be quite high, if there has to be a connection
made for each email to be sent to that particular domain. Say you have 1000
users that have hotmail accounts. That means cold fusion (or your SMTP
server) will have to make 1000 individual connections. If coldfusion
supported

would be eliminated.
