Hi.

It probably won't save you space or money.  The host has to have the SQL DB licenses and set you up a database instance within it.  This typically comes with an associated cost.  Who is the host and do they support MS SQL or similar?

Hello All,

I have  problem with a simple website that I have that uses (I know, I know) Access as a database.  What started out being a 20 - 30 mb file has now somehow grow to 200 mb and is growing.  My shared hosting provider charges a lot of money for disk space.  Would converting the file to MSSQL 2000 save me diskspace?

If so, I am not familiar with MSSQL is there a tool that will easily convert my database to MSSQL so that I can upload it.

Thanks

Mike
