I think some of
these things are slow only the first time you do the task -- and should
be fast from then on -- even if you rerun Chandler. So in the life of a
normal Chandler user, that doesn't always start with a fresh
repository, the slow situations are extremely rare:
+ Switching between calendars
+ Activating/Deactivation calendars using checkboxes
+ Changing the view - going week to week or clicking on mini cal
to go to a particular week

I have been dogfooding Chandler for a while. Looking at
the complete list of performance scenarios...
The top 5 items that I find the most bothersome are...
+ Switching between
calendars
+ Activating/Deactivation calendars using checkboxes
+ Double clicking to create a new event
+ Stamping events as a communication
+ Changing the view - going week to week or clicking on mini cal
to go to a particular week

We've set performance improvements as a

the problems we are facing is that we
don't have the performance tests

these this week, now that we seem to have
gotten the Tinderbox perf
tests stable again.)
So, I would like you to respond to this
message to let us know what the
biggest performance issues are that are
bothering you when you are using
Chandler.
Thanks,
