It looks like we may have a couple of translations ready this week;
Heikki asked me to do a small, proof of concept like, translation of
Chandler but as the amount of required work is not that big, at least
for localizing the menus and some of the graphics, there is really no
reason to go only half way. I was also supposed to write a small
tutorial about my work, see bug 6657, but as Philippe already beat me to
the punch (only by a day), I think that I am going to improve the wiki
page that Philippe already started.

Hi Brian,
I couldn't wait and started to localize Chandler tonight. I'm happy to
report that things are going really smoothly! :) Your document helped
a lot. I used it as a template for my doc, editing as I went (e.g.
fixing createEggTranslation and turning it into createTranslationEgg
:) ...), formatting and adding Tips. It's there for your enjoyment:

I'm using an alpha version of poEdit for Mac OS X. It works though
there are a couple of bugs (like error when saving and can't quit,
need to kill the process...) but I've been able to use it.
Anyway, I guess I'll have a preliminary French demo version very soon
now.
