Hum,
That is an interesting question. I do believe it is possible to have
mail pulled from
an IMAP server directly to the hub. The JavaMail API is provided for
such things.
I would consider this to be a lot more work obviously then going
directly to
the Desktop since all the mail framework infrastructure is already in
place
in the Desktop client.
It would be faster to implement however, I believe then the TB
plugin because the only missing piece in this case is adding the IMAP
client code to pull flagged messages into the hub. Where as with TB
there needs to be an atom pub layer set up on the client as well as a
host of other
challenges and creation of required API's.

Brian?
What are the chances that we could get this working via Chandler
Hub? as opposed to the Desktop. Basically have your Hub account
pull down flagged emails via your IMAP email account.

Hi Mimi,
Yes it would be possible to add this additional functionality.
Although
I question whether it would be needed since Chandler Folders
can be used to do the same thing with more granularity.
Can you describe further your thought process
for this new feature.
Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian,
I had a quick question. Currently we download all messages in
your INBOX with Chandler headers, meaning all messages sent from
other Chandler clients.
Can we do the same for all 'flagged' messages as well? This would
be a way to simulate the proposed Tbird plug-in experience, but
would work for anyone using any client so long as they had an
IMAP account.
I think it would simply involve adding 2 checkboxes in the
Incoming Mail account dialog to:
[ x ] Download messages sent from other Chandler Desktops
[ x ] Download flagged messages
