Hello Chandler devs, I've been a Chandler user for the past 6 months or so, and I've often considered getting involved with its development. Unfortunately, school and life conspired to keep me too busy to do so. When I heard about the Google Summer of Code program, my first thought was "Sweet, I hope Chandler is on the list!" and I can't tell you how excited I am about the possibility of working with you guys.
I looked at the project ideas on the wiki, and I had a couple of questions about them. I'm most interested in the NLP project but I'm fairly new at NLP. Do you have any suggestions as to the best way to get up to speed by summer? I'd also be interested in working on desktop widgets. Is there a list somewhere of desired widgets that I could look at for ideas? I spent some time on the wiki and I couldn't find any contact information specifically related to this, so I apologize if this was the wrong place to put this. Thanks so much for your time, and I look forward to working with you. -Avner Shanan-
