My guess is that opening a new window is less common than editing an
item in-place. But if we make it a keyboard command, most users
won't discover it.
So I'm proposing that we add an icon to the mark-up instead + come
up with an alternate keyboard command to open items in new windows.
(eg triple click, ctrl-cmd-I, ctrl-cmd click, etc)
Hi, Mimi
I'm OK with doing _something_ :). Can you file a bug? Also, for the
markup change, a new button icon (and position) would be good.
Of the proposed options:
1. triple-click is, I believe hard to code in wx
2. ctrl/cmd-I is straightforward.
3. ctrl/cmd-click interferes with "extend the selection" in tables,
and is hard to discover IMHO.
I'd go with #2, therefore.

PS: I believe that on Windows/Linux, the button/menu should be called
"Properties", but "Get Info" is the common Mac idiom.
