Jos, Thanks for bringing this up. You are right, there is no real way to foresee what collaboration might come out of this or how it might benefit Chandler in the future. We do know that moving forward with the re-architecture work is important for the future of the project and we are still committed to an architecture path that focuses on the needs of the user we defined for Preview. I guess what I am saying is that we aren't planning on changing our short-term goals.
However, building out our developer community is essential for the long term health of the project. This means spending some cycles engaging with people who come and are interested in the project, like the Sugar folks.
