That'd be *great*, definitely not stepping on any toes I know of. Be sure to take a look at what's already there (http://svn.osafoundation.org/sandbox/jeffrey/iphone/), and do note the main gotcha I hit: the NSXML* APIs are available on the iPhone simulator, but NOT on the device, so the open source obj-c atompub library: http://code.google.com/p/objective-c-atompub/ won't work on the device.
