I've been accepted to speak on J at the Emerging Languages Camp, 18 September 2013, prior to the Strange Loop software conference that occurs the following two days in St. Louis, Missouri. This talk will be available only to attendees of the conference who also purchase the additional admission to Emerging Languages Camp.
The Camp's announcement on my presentation is here: https://thestrangeloop.com/sessions/the-j-programming-language The main conference site, unsurprisingly, is https://thestrangeloop.com/ At the most recent presentation I made on J, last month at Detroit Lambda Lounge, I spoke for about an hour and a half, before another half hour of questions and discussion. The time available for presenting at ELC will be closer to a half hour, so I clearly must cut most of the content from my previous talk. This challenge of editing is magnified by my intent to stress verb trains more than I have in past talks. The slides from my talk in April are available from my J wiki page: http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/TracyHarms ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
