would use V's dyadic definition and give us its result.

If you use [ for V these two forms would behave equivalently.

Personally, I prefer both the current implementation (syntax error)
and N&V over N"_ V  -- I don't see the value of dedicating a parsing
rule to computing a result and then discarding it.

But that's just my reasoning. What's yours?
