Earlier this month, Skip Cave suggested that some of us attend ACM's June
SIGPLAN workshop.

I think that this was an excellent suggestion, but I do not know if anyone
else agrees.

Is anyone planning on going?

Does anyone want to sponsor me going? Or, better yet, sponsor Robert
Bernecky?

Note also the paper submission process - does anyone have topics they would
like to present to the ACM? We have a wonderfully powerful platform here,
and there's a lot we can do with it. Someone should be doing some bragging
for us. (Unfortunately that can be difficult to do when everything seems so
simple. But simplicity really is a virtue.)

Anyways, if we are to succeed as a community we need to be reaching out to
other communities and helping them, and I expect that the ACM could use
some help.

Thanks,
