Earlier this month, Skip Cave suggested that some of us attend ACM's June SIGPLAN workshop.

Is anyone planning on going? Does anyone want to sponsor me going? Or, better yet, sponsor Robert Bernecky? Note also the paper submission process - does anyone have topics they would like to present to the ACM? We have a wonderfully powerful platform here, and there's a lot we can do with it. Someone should be doing some bragging for us. (Unfortunately that can be difficult to do when everything seems so simple. But simplicity really is a virtue.) Anyways, if we are to succeed as a community we need to be reaching out to other communities and helping them, and I expect that the ACM could use some help.
