Interestingly, I have found J easier to teach to
the uninitiated than various other programming languages.

(Try that with C.)

The problem, in my opinion, is that it's easier for most people
to find computer users who are unfamiliar with J than it is to
find computer users who are unfamiliar with C.

But another issue has to do with the kinds of problems
people try to solve.
