Matthew, Good luck with your ApproachableLondoners. It was easier for me to get the word out because my neighborhood is much smaller and I created a laminated sign to put out. You can see my sign at http://sites.google.com/site/thebrianschott/Home/pathsign .
Incidentally, I just visited your ApproachableLondoners page and noticed you only added a map, not a log page. If you go back, you should be able to add a log page where people can leave and delete short messages and snapshots. Let me know if you have trouble (offline maybe so as not to clutter Jchat).
