SIGAPL has been de-chartered by the ACM and folded into SIGPLAN as a chapter
of that group.  Quote Quad has not come out with a new issue because
contributions (publishable material) have dried up.  SIGAPL was negotiating
with ACM for funds to continue publishing but, without any content, this is
a moot point.

There are about three of us who still do any work for SIGAPL but this is
really not enough of a volunteer base to accomplish much.  I have a list of
potential volunteers I've contacted but they have done almost nothing.

I'm in charge of the SIGAPL website, such as it is.  I'm happy to post any
APL-related info there.

Wish I had more positive news about the organization.
