Thank you Michael, I had no problems with Vista machines.
My Mac troubles were resolved by a kind J'er, Ron. My pocket pc's I got going via a Vista netbook, J works, but access is unusual. Ian kindly sent an SD card and it did not install nor could i get it going via the SD card, Ian sent detailed instructions on how I might get it going via the SD card, but neither he nor I were confident it would eventually work.
