so in case of doubt add parentheses, yes, I figured that one out myself in J particularly so also in case of doubt add spaces, yes? why so many devices? simple, they make new ones every so often and i hope, fool that i am , that hp / microsoft will finally fix their annoying recurring problems and make i pod touch type quality, reliabilty, friendliness, stability. So i have accumulated a few. And it is anot all at once that i would like J on all, I have been struggling with that since august 2009. with i pod touch, i pods, my MacBook Pro doesn't care how many i pods I have, it just says oh yes hello, lets sync you, lets update you. end of story. yes, i do tend to use my pocket pc's for various purposes. so my tally is 5 portable pocket pc type devices now. And why not have J on all if that is possible. One, the hp rz1910, is a stable and nice device which may or may not have enough memory, I have had such an error report trying to get J to work on it from the SD card, it is an older 2 generations back type of machine but friendly and stable. J is best done with several computing devices at once anyhow, one for doing, one for reference, and one for making one's own notes, saves flipping back and forth. Have written computer programs since the early 1960's, so I am familiar with how finicky they used to be.
