I occasionally get a question if I can do this or that with J and the answer is always yes. It is also true that most of it is easy for me to do personally but sometimes the person asking wants to do it but only getting directions what to do and how to do it and then it may not be so easy to describe over the phone. I usually have to have J in front of me and sometimes experiment a bit to get the task done. I know a few people who can do advanced APL/J operations without having a session manager in front of them.
