Thanks Bjoern when it comes to technical stuff, J is tough.
took half a year sort of to get it to work on all my small machines and still not working like normal Apps still have no idea how to save a file i am working on, and retrieve it in a manner so i can resume working on it and so on and so on as with 'normal' set ups. also no idea how to list a program after editing for a clean look. my working assumption with the technical aspect of J: it is really tough and aggravating and time consuming and extremely likely not to work. For the reference aspect I still have not found a reference Bible I like, something with progressive examples from too simple to useful (to too crazy difficult, that part is easy to find) with a great practical index. thanks again D ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
