Hi,
I think this is great. I think it is very important for Chemistry to
become multi-language, and to get the word out there that it is not
limited to Java. Other projects, such as NMaven or the logging project
are proof that multi-language technologies are good for Apache.
I do understand the concerns about the current implementation being a
one-man effort, but the most important part in that case is
documentation and test units. If both are present, I think it would
make it easier for others to enter the project and help out.
Best regards,
Serge.

Hi all,
Jeff Potts from Optaros is interested in contributing his Python
cmislib (http://code.google.com/p/cmislib/) to Chemistry.
In my opinion this would give cmislib a bigger community and would
make it more visible.
And it would give Chemistry an AtomPub client implementation in a
new language.
There are synergies in this as well, for instance the test suites
could easily be run against each other.
What do people from this list think?
Regards,
Florent
