Could someone explain my step by step how to set it up? For a simple

Redirect all /about ->  index.php?r=about
Redirect /news/1/add ->  index.php?r=news&id=1&action=add
There are two places where regular expressions are used:

1.- "Regular Expression" rule match. You can apply rules depending on whether
or not a client request matches a regex.
2.- The Redirection Handler. Independently on the type of match of the rule, a
redirection will be performed.

So, you can configure any combination at your convenience:

- Match: Directory /tmp, Handler Redirection, match+substitution
- Match: RegEx whatever, Handler File (or something else)
- Match: RegEx whatever, Handler Redirection, match+substitution
- Match: RegEx whatever, Handler Redirection, substitution

What I try to archive is "simple" here is what I try to archive: (Its just for "training" purpose")

I settet up gitweb, in gitweb we got files like: git-logo.png, gitweb.css and git-favicon.png they resist in /usr/share/gitweb. So far I wrote this regex: ^(.*)\/git-logo\.png with internal redirect -> /usr/share/gitweb/git-logo.png, I tried File handler,
extensions, and regex. No success so far...

The git-logo.png is called from the "html" :

<img src="/git-logo.png <view-source:http://git.united-regions.org/git-logo.png>" width="72" height="27" alt="git" class="logo"/>

thx for help :)
