But what about driving down the street at 35mph and some idiot comming the
other way weaves into your lane? You swerve and hit a tree. You saying
that a seatbelt is more likely to do you more harm than good? It's at high
speed agressive driving where you shouldn't bother wearing one. If you get in
an accident at high speed the injuries will be so severe that in this case it's
less likely that a seatbelt will matter (but it's still possible it will).
It would seem to me that at any speed, chances are the seatbelt will help.
