I had a cracked flex-plate that sounded just like a rod knock. With the
stumble, change out the cap, rotor, plugs, and wires all at once. A bad
wire or plug, can cause the cap to fail, so if you change out a little at a
time, it can cause you to run in circles. I have had the best luck changing
out everything at once. Also take the time to loom those wires, and trim
them to the correct length. This can really increase the time between
tune-ups. I have heard mixed reviews on the Unilite, if all else fails, it
is hard to beat a GM designed HEI.
