Tim,
What you need is a small wire clip that is used to hold the window crank
to the window regulator. It is shaped similar to a "horseshoe". You may be
able to find the clips at your local parts store, or salvage yard. If you
go to a salvage yard to remove them from a parts car, you'll need to
fabricate a special tool to remove the clip. I have had luck using a pair
of good pliers and a nail bent at about 90 degrees. Push the door panel
"in" with your hand next to the window crank. Then sneak behind the window
crank, using the head of the nail to grab ahold of the closed end of the
clip, and pull. With some practice, you'll a pro in no time. Good luck !
