Tom I want to thank you for all of the information that you have givin me.  I am just curious now how to go about putting in my HEI.  I plan going to the junkyard in the morning and picking on up to use for right now.  If anyone could give me tips and how to go about taking about my old distributor and putting in the new one would be greatly appreciated.  I know to disconnect the negative wire to the battery but what else am I going to have to take off to get the old distributor out?  Its a 70 Chevelle with a 5.7 350. I was also wondering if anyone knows what kind of tranny I got.  Its an automatic 3 speed on the colume.  thanks                        david Get more from the Web.
