Can anyone tell me what color the hood latch assembly on a 72 Chevelle should be? I'm taking the opportunity while my engine is out to do some re-detailing. I had the latch originally painted a cast (silver) finish but was curious what color they came from the factory. I finally stripped the rad support down and re-did it with Eastwoods' Underhood Black, so I suppose I'll freshen up everything else while I'm at it! Thanks.
