make sure it is a real SS. ask for all the documentation if you don't know cars pay a professional to look at it. there are a lot of fake cars out there. if you don't have a friend who knows this stuff you should be able to for less than 200 bucks get someone to look at it and appraise it. make a deal between you and the appraiser. that way if the car is worth more than what you are paying the seller doesn't see the value. if it comes up short or the car isn't what you were expecting you are only out $200.00 or so.
