A few weeks ago, I was wondering whether the Q-Jet on my 69 SS was date
coded correctly. Using my Hollanders and an old Year One as references
(along with some tips by the Chevy engine expert J. Forbes at what to
look for), I was able to decode the ID number on mine as being from 1969.
