Just do a
clean job of installing the new motor so that you can return it if it doesn't
solve the problem. -----Original

I was looking for... THANKS! JM ---------- If the bearing in the
blower motor is going bad, it can cause the heater fuse to blow. This is not
something you will find with a test light because it is not a dead short. The
same thing happened on one of my Oldsmobiles. Replaced the fuse and it blew
again right away, replaced the blower motor (which was noisy anyway) and the
fuse has never blown again. With the weather getting
colder I've started to use my heater. To my amazement, after I replaced a
fuse, the heater worked great. The next day I started the car and turned
the heater on and the fuse was blown again! Other then this, the cars
electrical system has no problems. |
