Jason:
i.m assuming you are talking the heater fan motor quits working. i would look for loose connections, worn connections, or corroded connections  (they don't have to look corroded. i was having the same problem with my 65 but the fuse wasn't blowing every time. i replaced the fuse, fan motor (it was noisy anyway), the resistor that sits next to the fan motor and finally the fan switch. every time i replaced an item it would work for awhile, then quit. i could turn the key on, then off, then back on and it would either run sometimes or not run but it wasn't blowing fuses anymore. one day i was checking another fuse with ignition on and the fan started working. i wiggled the heater fuse and it quit. i took the fuse out and cleaned the connection. since then i have had no problems. sitting and not running for 15 years had probably not helped the matter.
