> >>Also if anyone has any info about Columbus Ohio I'd sure be interested in >>knowing what it's like up there. I live in Kent(NE Ohio). Winters are much milder than the snowbelt and places like Erie, Buffalo. Great location for car shows and racing, several a year at National trails(outside Columbus), Quaker City(near Youngstown), Norwalk Raceway Park. During the summer several nights a week you can hit a cruise as well at local Walmarts/A&W's and others. Winter gives me a chance to save a few bucks and work on the car and it adds more excitement for spring. >Very nice people there I hear, but no one....and I mean no one....drives >over any posted speed limit at any time (I got this second hand from two >different sources, I've never been there)..... > Lots of speed traps and lots of speed limit drivers. Not much chance of talking your way out of a state patrol ticket..I recieved a ticket in my Chevelle doing 42 in a 35 zone..total crap if you ask me. I was driving along with traffic and was picked out as the guy that got the ticket. I guess it's only fair for the many 1/4 mile blasts I've made down Ohio roads.
