Clint,   I have a friend which will sell me one for around $ 1000, I'm not sure if it is a Dana 44, but it is a Corvette rear. Why do you think it's to difficult to put it under a chevelle ? do you think I would have to build a new floor ? One of my friends in Norway have installed one under his '57 chevy pickup, he said installation was a snap, well nearly a snap at least. I know a chevelle is a quite different car than a 57 pickup, but anyway. Dana 44 is also stamped on the housing.
