Regarding the control arm shafts- from some suppliers (Moog being the one I'm familiar with) you can buy offset upper control arm shafts that allow for better alignment on older cars that have frame sag. They introduce a few degrees of extra camber to compensate. If you are going to replace the shafts, or if the car could not be aligned correcty, look for these.
