I'm still undecided on the crate BBC/SBC issue but did decide today to go ahead with the rear end upgrade from 2.73 open to 3.42 with Auburn Pro, c-clip eliminators, new bearings and a Moser Engineering aluminum rear end cover etc while the car is still in the resto shop. Will have the TH350 beefed up or swapped for a 400 when the engine is changed. Plan on putting 30-60 days on the ole reliable 307 to make sure the new brakes and new suspension are solid and get everything necessary for the engine swap and vintage or southern air project.
