Is there any machining required for C-clip eliminators? ie- is it something I can accomplish in my garage over the weekend? It's one thing I haven't done to my 12-bolt, but probably should for as much as I race the car. -Dave -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, February 25, 2002 5:27 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: RE: [Chevelle-List] Still Undecided Replies to this message are sent to The Chevelle Mailing List ------------------------------------------------------------ Replies to this message are sent to The Chevelle Mailing List ------------------------------------------------------------ I have over $1,500 in my 12 bolt housing, gears, moser axles, c-clip eliminators, and brakes. If I did it over I would have spent the extra and gone with the 9inch. This decision would be based on strength and the fact that I race the car and have swapped gears 3 times in the last 5 years. The 12 bolt will not fail on a cruiser. I have been abusing it for 13 years running 10-11 seconds in the 1/4. Walt Thanks Walt, good info. Just cruiser plans for this one. Might make a couple of trips down the 1/4 someday just to see what it will do when I'm finished. ..
