Thanks Herb, A good place to start would be to take a straight-on picture, and include a ruler in the picture. That would at least give me a sense of scale & the level of difficulty to produce the piece. Is it similar at all to the 1966 Chevelle grill emblem? I have a couple of those here. If the only difference is that it says El Camino instead of Chevelle (same size, font, etc.), I don't think we would need a model. I'm serious. This guy is already making motorcycle restoration parts and wants to get into the car parts. He is also doing custom fabrications for racing applications, and remanufacturing parts for Wankel rotary engines that are no longer available. Thanks, John Nasta Old Car Network http://oldcarnetwork.com -----Original Message----- Hi John, You might want to consider reproducing the front grille emblem for the '66 El Camino. Not only are they hard to find (almost impossible) but no body is making them. If you're serious about doing this, I might be persuaded to let you use mine... cYa- Herb Lumpp 1966 El Camino ACES #3509 http://web.tampabay.rr.com/herbsworld/index.htm ----------------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe please visit www.chevelles.net/list.html To start a new topic, send mail to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
