Thanks Herb,

A good place to start would be to take a straight-on picture, and include a
ruler in the picture. That would at least give me a sense of scale & the
level of difficulty to produce the piece. Is it similar at all to the 1966
Chevelle grill emblem? I have a couple of those here. If the only difference
is that it says El Camino instead of Chevelle (same size, font, etc.), I
don't think we would need a model.

I'm serious. This guy is already making motorcycle restoration parts and
wants to get into the car parts. He is also doing custom fabrications for
racing applications, and remanufacturing parts for Wankel rotary engines
that are no longer available.

You might want to consider reproducing the front grille emblem for the '66
El Camino.  Not only are they hard to find (almost impossible) but no body
is making them.

If you're serious about doing this, I might be persuaded to let you use
mine...
