Anyone familiar with the 53/54 Chevy? I'm looking at buying one that has a 350 engine transplant but I'm curious about the rest of the drive train? Did the 54 have an "open" driveline like 55 and up? Anyone ever done or seen a front clip from a Nova or Camaro in one for modern suspension upgrade or maybe even a Mustang II? The car I'm looking at is really nice but I'm looking at how to upgrade the suspension and concerns about a 50 year old driveline staying intact. I've searched for info sites but they're few and far between. Any websites anyone knows about would be appreciated. Thanks!
