Hi,
I'd like to find a replacement Quadrajet for my 69 SS396. I'd
prefer as close to an original equipment 1969 Quadrajet (new or rebuilt)
as I can find. I know that I can go with an aftermarket "generic style"
(e.g. an Edelbrock 1901, etc.), but I'd really like to find a 1969
factory Quadrajet if I can.
I see that Year One is selling new 1969 style ones for $450-ish
and the Paddock is selling rebuilt 1969 style ones somewhere in the
$200's I believe, but does anyone have any other sources that they'd
recommend?
Has anyone installed an Edelbrock 1901? (If so, do you like it ? Did it
fit the exact same footprint as an OEM Quadrajet?, etc.). I see that
Jeg's is selling them for $390.
