Tried to drop 327 and Th350 into my '64
today, the drive shaft seemed to line up into the transmission but binded
somehow. Swapping a small block for the six and powerglide.
Shoved the drive shaft aside just to see how the
engine would fit, transmission mount and drivers side motor mount were
fits but the motor mount on the passenger side wouldn't seat, stayed high and
seems to be twisted out of alignment. Seems like the weight of the engine
would cause it to settle. I looked everywhere for something that was
binding and nothing was obvious. Had to call it a day.
Can anybody thing of anything that might help
me tomorrow. Bummer !.
