If you are wanting a good cruizing carb, get an Edlebrock, it costs more the
the price is far better in the long run. I have never had much luck out of
the two Holleys I have owned (one was even brand new!!) I slapped an
Edlebrock on there and have only adjusted it once.... after a year of having
it on the car!!!! Like I said you get what you pay for. As for pricing I
sold my first Holley (650 mechanical secondaries, manual choke) for $75 I
priced it at that thinking I would have haggling room, the guy whipped out
the cash and didn't ask anything but did it run when I pulled it off the
car. My second one though I let go for a song to a very close friend, (750
dual line, vaccum secondaries, two years old when I sold it off the car for
a year) $50, but you know how the buddy system is, I scratch your back you
scratch mine.... he scratched mine alot so I didn't mind letting it go for
cheap. Hope this helps.
